We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

All the puppies for Steph.

You can have mine, who is being annoyingly demanding while I lounge on the futon.

At least I'm catching up on some television...

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Unicorns and puppies for Tep. Rainbows and kittens, too. I'm glad you were able to be there for your brother, and I hope that this weekend is as emotionally kind to you and Tim as possible.

Zen and brenda, let's touch base next week, once I'm through the RFP cycle from hell. We'll start making a plan.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Sounds like the only thing left is for the Nashville people to check husband's references.

I am excite, but I would like to get to the decision-making and action part.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, good luck to him and you, Dana!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Checking in, at least briefly! (It's so hard to read the board when I'm driving because every time I exit from Chrome on my Android, it loses my page.)

I am reminded that I should check back with the dermatologist I've seen a couple years ago, just because my mom and my aunt both had multiple skin cancers, so it isn't a bad guess that it runs in my family. And though as an adult I've been either inside where it's safe, OR outside with enough sunscreen, as a child I had a bunch of really bad sunburns -- the kind where, once it stops hurting, you get a layer of skin peeling off. (That part was weirdly cool, even if it means you had major-league damage.)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Excite!

Ooh, fingers crossed Dana!!

I had what I was pretty sure was a migraine this morning (it wasn't super painful yet but I felt weird and my vision was funky). Sadly I'm at a site so couldn't nap--took my migraine meds and now the side effects are making me weird too. No winning!!

I am super ready for a vacation. Mine starts Monday! Except while I'm ready to take a vacation I am NOT ready for my vacation!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
