Oh sara, your poor family. That does sound like a lot of things but it'll be addressed one at time until it's addressed.

Steph, I'm glad you're home safe and your brother is doing well.
I'm avoiding taxes. I need to get Turbo Tax on my new computer and just do it.
Anyone have advice for hot flashes? I'm going to talk to my doc, because I'm having at least two an hour, awake or asleep.
Strix, I take borage oil and black cohosh, and my hot flashes have almost gone away. I wasn't having 2 an hour, though, so YMMV.
My sister called me first thing this morning to bitch about her job, and now I've lost what little motivation I had for mine. Ugh.
Quiet today.
Too quiet.
In completely unshocking news, am so very sore from yesterday's spin-a-thon. Mostly my abs, though.
That sounds like a good result!
Glad you're home, Steph. Yay you for being such an awesome sister!
Zen, I've become much more aware lately about how random kvetching, whether it's me or someone else, can really suck away all the energy to get things done. I'm trying to be more mindful about it, but dang I sure do kvetch a lot!
That sounds like a good result!
agreed
I hope this doesn't segue into kvetching, but we met with Franny's science teacher today and her math teacher last week. We are going to have our work cut out for us getting her to where she needs to be because in both classes, the teacher had absolutely no clue that she was falling so far behind. It's the classic case of the smart, quiet, well-behaved student who is slowly drowning, but the teachers never notice. Ugh!
But I have to let that go for now as I have a bunch of work work to do now, while the kids are in school.
Aw, poor Franny, and poor you. That's a tough situation.
That does sound good, lisah. I can only imagine the difficulty walking I would have after 2.5 hours spinning.
Oof, that sounds tough.
Oh Burrell, I hope talking with the teachers will get Franny the help she needs.
With CJ I had the class clown that everyone loved and they knew he was smart but whenever I expressed concern about his grades, especially when he was younger and establishing these habits, they didn't seem too concerned. Now he is paying for it and having to learn how to study and ask for help. So far so good with the Fire Academy though.
It is a beautiful day in Colorado. It is about 51 with pretty blue skies. Jack and I are working on the back porch. Extra chance for him to practice his training and I get some fresh air.
