Anya: It's lovely! I wish it was mine! Oh like you weren't all thinking the same thing. Giles: I'm fairly certain I wasn't.

Listening to another mayoral town hall. I'm hopeful that if an establishment candidate wins the primary, I'm gonna have a promising green to vote for in the general, so I can respect myself in the morning. (It's insane, 29 candidates or something. Only 3 or 4 republicans.)

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Ugh. Ballerina!Surgeon told me something at work, in her chatty friendly way, that I truly neither need nor want to know about a co-worker (I suspected her days were numbered, but I didn't need to know for certain and I definitely didn't need to know how small that number was). Man, I hope that she's on her way out on her own initiative, with something else lined up and ready to go, but I am very worried about not. Why so chatty and friendly and totally oblivious to office politics, Ballerina!Surgeon, why?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, vaping is popular in California for, uh, reasons

Oh yeah, this is just nicotine.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

A call with my PM and his boss got interesting today. PM was asking for some of boss's budget to reward the project team for earning a health and safety award. Boss's response was "Are you high?" To which my PM responded "Well, Suzi is here from Colorado". I did a spit take.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ha! I once had an outside graphic designer I was working with (now an old friend, but this was almost 20 years ago) tell me to light up a doobie and relax while we were on a late-night call about a project.

blackish: when I went with Taylor to the Inaug, I suppressed my terror that the ugliest part of America would surface, and it'd be me and this teen baby, a precious life I was taking responsibility for. But it was there and a small part of why I was grateful to Sparky for letting us launch from her house.

I was also concerned about the crush, and that did become reality, but people were their best. Man, can't believe 7 years.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Psychological dependence is a bitch, of course.I don't understand vaping - I only know about it in a very abstract way and it just sounds so weird. But then smoking sounds pretty weird, too.

Little do they know that most of our deployments involve someone saying in the chatroom "deploying now" and then a couple of minutes later, "done".

See, that sounds badass.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh yeah, this is just nicotine.

Yeah, I figured

Hope the power comes back soon, lisah
