Good luck with your brother, Steph. I'd have advised getting hammered *after* dropping him off at rehab, but whatever works best for you.
This weekend was largely a loss to deadlines for me, though I did go have lunch at my parents' place for a bit of a break. I think the cats are just going to have to deal with their litterboxes until tomorrow, grocery shopping used up the last of my energy.
Much ~ma, Steph, I hope the rest of the trip goes well and I hope you find a little time for yourself. You are doing good work, sister.
Man, yeah, I feel you, Matt. I have basically no awareness that there was a weekend. I mean, I realize most of this is self-imposed, but man, I have just been moving from one panic monster to the next. However, I have been getting SHIT done. I wonder if I could be like this, you know, all the time?
Tep, I hope your visit is going well. It sounds like your brother is stabilizing just because someone is there. Ma to you all.
My cat somehow saved a picture of Ben Carson to my desktop with her butt. !?!
That strikes me as somehow right and appropriate. Cat butts for Carson.
Liese, I get how getting shit done all the time would sound like a good idea, but one panic after another does not sound like a long-term solution.
Cat butts love Ben Carson, it's true.
In other TV news, Downton! My only comment about Tom Branson is: "I am not having sex with Spike, but I'm starting to think that you might be."
Downton question, Jesse: Does everyone know Barrow is gay by now? Including upstairs?
I would think so, in an unstated way? But who knows.
OTOH, by 6:35 am I had already fucked up my day, so maybe one panic after another is a better system. Don't listen to me, is what I'm saying.
