Swim tonight was a clusterfuck. Go away new people! Normally I have the lanes to myself on a Sunday night. This was madness. People kept hopping in and forcing circle swim without letting anyone know and doing it in lanes where if they had an ounce of awareness, they'd see it was badly mismatched paces. White chirpy college girls, I hate you.

But at least at the end, John (my favorite guard, he's my age) cracked me up by ranting with me.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Thank God for the Hamilton soundtrack. Made it to Minneapolis and am on the next plane for Denver. My dinner is a Snickers and the tiniest bag of almonds you've ever seen. Don't even ask how much I paid for them.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I have a stupid question: The jar of baby food I am feeding ltc says "use within 2 days". She's still just beginning on foods and isn't eating much at each meal yet. I opened this jar for her breakfast yesterday, can I finish it for her breakfast tomorrow or chuck it?

Oh Steph, much strength to you.

sj, I'm pretty sure if it's been refrigerated you are fine. But if you feel better chucking it, do so.

It's been refrigerated the whole time, and I'm not feeding her directly from the container, so it's probably not germy.

I'd taste it - but I have no really experience

Last night was extra fun -it was my turn at the ER -Turned out to be some unknown, but most likely viral stomach bug. Not appendicitis. So lots of pain drugs, and no sleep for us. We got home about 5am . this confused the cat - he likes to walk on us at 5 am - so we set his timer all off too.

This has led to the Sunday of sleep and toast
