To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

"Frustrating" doesn't begin to cover that, meara. That sucks.

Congrats, Kalshane! We need more good news for 2016.

Thank you. I know this year has been a right bastard to a lot of people so far. Hopefully it's just getting everything out of the way early.

And thanks again for all the kind words, everyone.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Ugh, got to sleep late through no fault of my own (Yes, it was entirely my fault, I should know better than to start reading a 35k-word fic by an author I like at bedtime), and then traffic this morning was a hellacious hellbeast.

I feel like I've done my work for the day and should be allowed to go home.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I too would like to go home. I had been feeling like the anti anxiety meds were working a bit, but this week I do not want to leave bed and random urges to start crying. Do not like. Deep breathing and lots of breaks.

I get that it must have been aggravating, but isn't killing him in his sleep going overboard?

Matt, I chortled so loud and hard at this, I nearly choked.

No homicide, I swear!

I'm getting over being sick. Ugh. Meanwhile, way too much stuff to do for the time I have.

On the bright side, it looks like we're going to pay off the mortgage this month.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, go Gud!

I totally forgot to take my morning meds. Fortunately, I can do it now with little consequence. Also forgot to bring my water bottle or a spoon with me. Mornings!

Sigh.

Hey Scola, a while back, you gave me excellent advice about waiting to buy a new Mac until about this time of year to take advantage of last year's models. Do you have a particular outlet you recommend? I've been skulking around B&H but have not run across any particular deals.

eta: spelling. I can't even with people this morning, much less pixels.
