One of my musico buddies is trying to rent out part of his Nashville condo, so if y'all know someone look, hit me up.
I actually think you guys might like Cincinnati a good bit.

I'm sorry for those who loved him, but I will say I'm glad he's no longer on the Supreme Court.
Yeah, that.
I will set something on fire if the Senate keeps us from having a full Court for a year+.
My friend from grad school is the head of some local booster org or something in Covington, if that comes up.
I'm SorryNotSorry about Scalia. Too much good. Obama's Climate plan, inadequate as it is saved. And new 3/5ths clause stopped. (Basically Supremes were considering one-person-one-vote apportionment be done based on those eligible to vote. No felons. No kids. So people of color, who both tend to be imprisoned more and to run slightly younger would count less in redistricting than white people. And new 3/5ths clause. That being stopped or at least delayed is going to save misery and maybe lives. So can't mourn the death of someone who fell dead before he could kill again.)
I have been googling "breakfast pie" in the hopes of coming up something both bizarrely comprehensive and tasty. WIP
When M and I got married, my cousin S made us a French toast pie as our wedding gift (plus recipe). It was fucking delicious. I am too lazy to track it down and type it up right now, but perhaps I'll get to it in the next few days.
I would appreciate it if you could get around to it sometime, Kate! No rush. There is no deadline on delicious pie, it is always welcome.
So I just got around to taking an online test to tell which of the four temperaments you have. I got phlegmatic!
Your temperament is phlegmatic. The phlegmatic temperament is fundamentally relaxed and quiet, ranging from warmly attentive to lazily sluggish. Phlegmatics tend to be content with themselves and are kind. They are accepting and affectionate. They may be receptive and shy and often prefer stability to uncertainty and change. They are consistent, relaxed, calm, rational, curious, and observant, qualities that make them good administrators. They can also be passive-aggressive.

Pacific Northwest is TOTALLY easy to move to! Our winters are mild! Our beers are plentiful! COME TO US!
Is it possible to get a senior-ish software engineer job there or is the talent pool too flooded, like in Portland?
Cereal: since now I'm idly looking at Seattle CL, any thoughts on neighborhoods for a dorky couple who values diversity and loves beer and doesn't have kids so they don't care about whatever school district they're in?
Also, question: are there black people in Seattle? Or Cincinnati? I would like to live somewhere that doesn't have a decidedly monochromatic pale color in its citizens.
Edit: of course I know there are people of different ethnicities everywhere - I just feel weird when I am in a place too long that's super white (see: New Hampshire, Portland.)
lazily sluggish
I think I know what my result would be.
Melancholic
Your temperament is melancholic. The melancholic temperament is fundamentally introverted and thoughtful. Melancholic people often were perceived as very (or overly) pondering and considerate, getting rather worried when they could not be on time for events. Melancholics can be highly creative in activities such as poetry and art - and can become preoccupied with the tragedy and cruelty in the world. Often they are perfectionists. They are self-reliant and independent; one negative part of being a melancholic is that they can get so involved in what they are doing they forget to think of others.
Not by a landslide, though. In the little bar graph of the results, they all look pretty close to me, although the melancholic bar is clearly the longest (2nd phlegmatic, 3rd sanguine, and 4th choleric). What humor would that be too much of?
I'd've guessed I was more water than earth as far as elements go. That's how I usually come up in woo-woo elemental whatevers.
