That's the argument they're using in Southern Utah as part of a long-going battle to claim all the federal/public lands for private ownership
Which just fills me with rage, as a member of the public. Those lands belong to everyone, and should be stewarded, not exploited.
In other news, apparently the Boss (my new dog) is awesome. Seriously, the trainer at my obedience class has started talking about the 2018 German Shepherd National Specialty, which is in Reno. Which, you know, that's INSANE. I've never competed with a dog, although I've watched my sister put titles on a couple of her dogs.
But the Boss is smart and attentive and figures things out really fast. She's remarkable, especially since she was basically neglected for the first couple years of her life. So it's kind of tempting to think about competing with her. But I just don't think I have the discipline and drive to do the work it would take to be competitive in obedience with her.
Aw, awesome Boss.
17 F is below my threshold for human. As is being at work @7. But both are happening.
It’s supposed to hit 0° F (not including wind chill) here on Sunday.
And then back up to 48° by Tuesday.
My parents got me the wifi crockpot for my birthday.
Can it gather all the ingredients by itself from the refrigerator, and then prep and mix them?
I don't know, I haven't read the owners manual yet. One of many projects for today. I will report back if it can!
It's 23 here and my planned trip to Target is looking unlikely. Below 30 I don't want to leave the house.
Several days off ADs. So far so good.
And the utter crap in the air has granted me a cold. I'm going to think of it as a bad allergy attack. Vegas will cure me.
Glad to hear it, Zen!
I hope it is just irritation and getting away will take care of it, Connie.
Will the wifi alert you if the electricity blinks out? My electricity went out the other day and the food I thought was cooking wasn't because the crock pot didn't go back on when the electricity did.
