"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Oh sara, I'm so sorry about Ken. Your poor family. How is your mother doing?

ND, I hope for some peace for you and your family. Conflicted feelings seem so logical in this situation, but still hard.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I now have a(nother) crown! So that's exciting. I think it's a mammo up next? So many medical appointments, you guys. The only good part is that ideally I will also start interviewing for a new job soon, so I'm getting the office familiar with my being out randomly.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good plan.

brillig

Visibility is worse today. I can barely see the other side of the parking lot. I'm not sure if it's snow or ice precipitating out. And there are always the people who believe they'll be punished if they don't drive the speed limit, despite the fact that you can't see what's in front of you four car-lengths ahead. But after today I don't have to drive to work until a storm clears this out. The bottom of my lungs hurt.

Jeez, I'm sorry to hear about the awful day you had ND and sarameg.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In lighter news, I got an email from my mother last night that was just in the subject line and just said "I cant do this" [sic]. Luckily, I knew she was trying to do advocacy calls in a wonky and overly complicated system, so it just makes me laugh every time I see it in my inbox. That is right up there with msbelle's "I'm alone and everything is hard"!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

That remains true.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Nashville is now on the board for my husband's job search. Interviews tomorrow.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ooh, I vote for Nashville. Nashville has great Buffistas.
