Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

We have a birthday party today for Tim's great-niece, at a bowling alley. And I have a migraine coming on. t gives stinkeye to the universe

I'm still bowling, though. I'm lousy at it, but I dig it anyway. And who knows? Maybe I'll be better at it while hopped up on migraine meds. (I always used to bowl better after a giant margarita, so I think my logic is sound.)

information libertarian

We have to go to my 17 year old nephew's birthday, which is fine, but it's almost 2 hours away, and there is never any organized plan to feed people when we go out there, so I am packing my snack bag. I'm also assuming we'll miss the superbowl, not that anybody really cares in my house, but I actually kind of like football.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I bought chips, so I guess I'll watch the Superbowl. That's how it works, right?

brillig

One of our biggest customers decided to upgrade their entire staff this weekend. They've pulled in 3 extra people to handle the load.

Brilliant, Connie.

Who should I root for? Panthers or Broncos? I like both horses and panthers, so I don't know.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It's as good a reason as any, Zen. I'm going to go to the store now because I really want cheese and chili and chips and have none of any of that.

ETA I like both teams and am just rooting for a good game, although I have a few squares in the football pool at work so I guess I will be rooting for those numbers on the scoreboard if they look at all possible.

It seems the Panthers are the underdogs who've never won a Superbowl, so I guess I'm rooting for them.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am once again confused why none of you love down the block from me so we can hang out on a lazy Sunday. Just sayin.

Of course I am not showered or dressed and am back in bed, but in theory you all would motivate me to deal with my house and self.

Knocked off a couple errands and picked up an 8 pack of bath towels at BigLots. Dropped that, a big bag of cat food and a flat of fishy canned food I bought by accident off at BARCS and had a visit with Andy. He's doing fine, several staff commented on what a sweetie he is. I KNOW. Ahrg, anyway.

Laundering my futon stuff. Really ought to paint...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm hoping to have wings for dinner and watch as little as possible of the Big Game. That said, I have to root for Cam Newton and against Peyton Manning.
