It looks like an ice slick outside, but I'm hoping it gets warm enough today that it doesn't stay that way...

I overslept and am not going to make it to Tai Chi group practice this morning. I'm at that stage of this cold where I can forget to take the meds, because I don't feel awful when the 4 hours or whatever is over, so I forgot to take them at all last night and that was a poor choice for this morning. But, got the DayQuil in my system now and next week will do just as well for starting group practice.

Nail day. Hanging out visiting, no hurry to get home where I need to clean and possibly do a bunch of paper shredding.

I'm getting my hairs cut, for the first time in forever.

My brother is making some really positive steps in his sobriety...and posting Ayn Rand quotes on Facebook. O_o

I don't want to kill him since he's making such good progress with his sobriety, but I might have to anyway. Come on, man. Ayn Rand???

Early morning deals were great! At the sample sales everything is $10. So, 5 shirts, a pair of shorts, a pair of running tights, and a three pack of undies for $80! And my tummy eventually decided to chill. Waiting for breakfast to settle before I go to the gym.

Teppy, that's...unfortunate. Yay sobriety but geeeeeez.

Probably it's a phase? The he skipped when he was 16 because of the drinking?

ION, confidential to Teppy, I just found out that a guy I knew in high school (whose name is, I kid you not, Speed Weed) is an executive producer on Arrow.

Ran the dog 5 miles in the woods this morning, now we're chilling out before driving out to agility class. Have to time the drive just right, because there's limited parking and a class right before ours.

Later I have to make bread for a work event on Tuesday. I'm thinking sriracha cheddar bread, doesn't that sound like the sort of thing to have on Mardi Gras?

His legal name is William Henry, but he has used Speed (and sometimes Speedy) exclusively since small childhood. I knew him fairly well in high school but have not talked to him since, although I see on Facebook we have mutual friends in touch. I also see he has triplet daughters who are toddlers.
