Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The last comic book store near me in Brooklyn closed a few months ago, and now I have to go into Manhattan to buy the only ongoing floppy comic that I still get, Saga. I'm thinking of just subscribing by mail for it.

A 17 year old student at the high school across from me captures a lot of my feelings on the latest mayoral contender. [link] That said, I know I will not be voting for any of the current office holders or old guard for mayor (Dixon, uhg.) I've often mused I'd like to scrap everyone, even the good ones, in favor of starting over. This might be the closest I get to that.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I really like the comic book store by me, I would like to actually support them but I lack discipline in keeping up with periodical anything and in managing my paper format literature.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

We have a great comic shop near me. I stopped buying comics when I lost my last job and haven't gotten back into a regular pull yet. The shop is near my favorite bar, so I use to occasionally get comics and then read them over cocktails. That was nice.

That does sound nice.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I am so tired. Work, then school event. I may have mentioned earlier? And not nearly enough alcohol but I'm so tired and mentally spun maybe I shouldn't be drinking. Wish I liked pot.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

It looks like I get a total of 4 days off this month.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Not nice, aurelia.

~ma to all that need it. I've been sort of keeping up, but every time I think about posting, the work fairy poops on my desk.

I bought myself snapdragons today for surviving the week. One of my coworkers from India will be in the office on Monday, and the coworker on vacation will be back on Wednesday, so there is an end in sight to my 12 hour work days. I need to take some vacation days to unwind, but not while coworker is visiting from so far away.

I'm gonna do the Molly Weasley Ugly Jumper Run 5K tomorrow even thought I technically already completed it many times over already.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was just planning my route for that. Assuming I can find the start of the trail, I think I am good.

Librarian Warlord

My next door neighbor is Deray Mckeeson's college roommate. They are still good friends, so no comments will come from James about him like Ted Cruz's former college roommate.

Tonight is the Girl Scouts Daughter Dance and whille the aforementioned James and my DH and several other Dads go, we Moms are staying behind to drink wine.
