I'm so sorry, Kate.
That was stressful running out to grab Matilda and rush via cab to catch a last chance appointment today. But it was worth it.
She'd lost 3 pounds in a week! She didn't have that much to spare on her skinny frame (she went from 59 to 56) but eating has been hard with all the coughing. They put her on an oxygen mask with albuterol and some other meds for about ten minutes. That helped. Now she's on the strong meds which aren't sitting well in her stomach.
She's been a good trooper but it's been such a drain on everybody, especially earlier last week when she was coughing ALL NIGHT LONG. And I mean unceasingly no matter what the medicine. Even with better cough medicine we were getting woken up about 4-6 times a night. Like having a newborn again.
Hope this is a quick fix and relief.
I just have to note that I don't want anyone talking about my ladyparts in a social group ever. (I was going to say any group at all, but god forbid I have a serious medical issue, the team there can discuss them.)
Must stop having an argument about the "Dark" Ages on Facebook. Have to go to work.
I'm just gonna say my ladyparts are not magical and anyone who says they are is lying and should be shunned.
No magical ladyparts here either. No need to discuss.
I'm headed home! Well, we will be off to the airport in about an hour and then HOME!
I'm glad I stayed a couple of extra days, regardless of the snow. My dad is getting older, though he isn't showing any signs of slowing down. We have a much better relationship than we did even a few years ago, so it is nice to just spend time together. There has been a lot of politics discussed, between the caucus the other day and last night's town hall. Both he and his wife are for Hillary, but they gobble up every bit of politics and discuss every nuance. If I had staunchly different views, it would likely be uncomfortable. Thankfully it is more informative instead.
my ladyparts are not magical
To be clear, I use that phrase as hyperbole.
AS FAR AS YOU KNOW.
Now you have me wondering what literal magical ladyparts would be like. Would it be like the movie Chatterbox, or are we talking The Goose That Laid the Golden Egg?
Gateway to Narnia, yo.
Pushing aside the fur coats and everything? If there's a lamppost in there, I don't want to know. Though it might work as a reading light.
I can't help but think Liquid Sky.
