Plus I'm worried about Tim's stupid dental problem AND he still doesn't have a diagnosis for his joint pain -- he got referred to a rheumatologist to sort out whether it's rheumatoid arthritis or gout (fingers crossed HARD for gout [which is a hilarious thing to say]), but, like a lot of specialists, they're booked into March, so he has to wait for a while on that.
Shit can just calm down for a while, is what I'm saying. There should be some unicorns with rainbow tails cavorting on the front lawn tomorrow.
Just be careful when you clean up their poop, I hear that glitter is impossible to wash off!
Oh Teppy, that's hard. Three funerals sucks any way, but your brother on top of that? Damn.
but your brother on top of that?
It's pretty heavy shit he's working through. But he told me today that he's looking for a therapist (finally!) and he found a sobriety group that's not AA (he doesn't think AA is objectively bad; it's just not right for him), so that should help a lot.
I will always, ALWAYS be there for him, but I'm glad he's adding members to Team Sober Bro.
I'm sorry you're dealing with so much, Tep, that's hard.
I am now feeling guilty because I bailed on going back to clean out Dad's apartment tonight and my sister is doing it for the second night in a row...
Sigh.
Best vibes for your brother's sobriety, Steph. What a rough time you have had lately!
Yeah, that is a serious lot, Tep.
Consuela, it's ok. You can do what you can do. This is a marathon, so pace yourself. It's all right.
Man, Steph -- I'm sorry for all of it.
::hugs Teppy hard:: That's a whole lot of life in a few weeks. Take whatever comfort you need to get through.
::hugs Consuela, too:: Exactly what Liese said.
Lots of ~ma Steph.
In my corporate e-mail I found out that Lowe's is acquiring RONA in Canada making it the dominate home improvement chain. That's right, Lowe's practically runs Canada now. You'll all be wearing red vests soon. Maybe we'll change the leaf on the flag to red too. Bwah ha ha ha ha!
