I thought I'd dodged the media barrage with all the officers' trials being pushed out, and then land in the middle of another. At least this one doesn't involve juries. Just probably insane lines into the courthouse.

At this time in two weeks I'll be on a plane to Vegas. I've been scoping out shopping. If I knew the city better I'd rent a car, because I can't see myself hopping into a cab and saying "Adult Superstore, please."

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I have tentative plans to go to San Diego in early November to meet up with an old friend from Sweden (AKA The One That Got Away) while he's visiting the US. I'm considering him as a back-up escape plan in the unlikely event that Cruz gets elected and Congress remains under a Republican majority.

*Ears perk up, before she gets back to work. No really.*

Needless to say, I am in favor of any plan that brings a buffista into proximity.

Unless, of course, it'd be interrupting defection plans to try to meet up. I understand priorities.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If I knew the city better I'd rent a car, because I can't see myself hopping into a cab and saying "Adult Superstore, please."

(a) Are you uncomfortable using GPS on your phone or a separate thingy? (b) It has definitely happened before and I bet the driver would get a kick out of you!

Don't have a phone or device that uses GPS. Well, the tablet might, but I'd want a human navigator when driving around an unfamiliar city. And I'm slightly uncomfortable taking a cab by myself to or from a location off the Strip. Apparently, all the fancy shopping areas attached to the casinos only provide space for lingerie, no love for the people wanting to peruse toys--unless those are in the back corners. It's worth wandering into, I guess. If they've got bondage stuff, they probably have other stuff (Agent Provocateur at the Forum Shops)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Woohoo, Form Clinic tomorrow night! That worked out well.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

If I knew the city better I'd rent a car, because I can't see myself hopping into a cab and saying "Adult Superstore, please."

You'll find it easier to picture if you imagine yourself adding "And step on it - it's an emergency!"

Thrive to spite them

I don't get the people who say they won't vote at all if their candidate doesn't get the nomination. They might as well just vote for the other person!

I'm going to vote for Bernie in the primaries and if it's Hillary I'll vote for Hillary. Some people might say "it's wrong just to vote for your party no matter what" but while there may one day be a Republican running for president I'd vote for this election is not that day.

I'm working on creating and updating (all the) documentation (in the world), so for second I was really bewildered why you'd be pleased about an entire clinic about updating forms. Then my brain remembered the places that aren't my doc system and it makes much more sense now. Have fun!

This isn't even a "Lesser of Two Evils" thing, no matter how you feel about Clinton or Sanders, that's "Choosing My Less Favored Candidate Over Evil."
