Thrive to spite them

Connie I don't think they will. Maybe Rubio but nit Cruz he's already got Birther conspiracis floating around him and bringing up his father is Cuban will bring up the fact that he was born in Canada.

Not sure about Rubio but Cruz has painted Rubio as soft on illegal immigration.

I really need to stop watching TV the only political ads I see are Cruz some Rubio and the occasional JEB! although JEB!'s usually are attack ads by PACS that don't mention his name.

brillig

I have to say, political conversations in my department are very refreshing, because even the conservatives are reasonable, and there are several liberals around. And they're all informed or at least aware of how political maneuvering works.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My meara...

On super-duper, holy crap am I reading that right sale:

Oh, I wish that was more of a Kelly green. Fantastic price – might have to get one anyway.

And one last one:

I like this one but it isn’t formal enough. But I think that style would work on me. Just longer and fancier.

This one is my favorite: [link].

Ohhhhh, I like that one a lot. I’m between a 22 and 24 though and I’d want to try it on before committing to renting it. But dang, I think that is my favorite so far.

Ted Cruz bothers me more than Donald Trump. Why people, why?

Serious why on both parts. We are having a debate over when someone will officially challenge Cruz’s qualification to be a candidate. Being a naturalized citizen has brought into question how the “born in the USA” applies. I’m curious myself because I was born outside the US but to an American citizen. Not that I want to run for office, but it would be nice to know if I could.

How did I forget today is Groundhog Day?

Today is not just Groundhog Day for my family, it is also my uncle’s birthday, his daughter’s anniversary, and his granddaughter’s (from a different child of his) birthday. Lots to celebrate today.

But I will enjoy it a bit, for giving Trump a smack in the face.

Yes. This.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm probably going to have to unfollow many of my Republican friends and family on FB before this is over. A whole lotta crazy out there.

I was foolish enough to get into a bit with some Hillary supporters. I will likely vote for her in the FL primary and hopefully in the general. Have no issue with Bernie at all. My issue with the Hillary fans was doing the big victory lap over a tie. If Bernie and Hillary trash each other too much this will only help the GOP in November because each of their core supporters will stay home. Don't alienate the other side, Dems! Let the GOP tear each other apart and alienate the base. If Hillary pisses off the Bernie crowd, and vice versa, they won't show up and vote at all. Sigh. I don't want a Trump/Cruz/Rubio president.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

If Bernie and Hillary trash each other too much this will only help the GOP in November because each of their core supporters will stay home.

I'm already seeing a lot of that, mostly from Sanders supporters (my unscientific sample is on Facebook), who are kind of being dicks to Clinton supporters.

I mean, I actually can't comprehend that a Sanders supporter would believe Trump, Cruz, or Rubio would be better than Clinton (or vice versa: a Clinton supporter thinking Trump, Cruz, or Rubio would be better than Sanders). That they'd stay home and not vote out of spite.

I would think that, regardless of which Democratic candidate someone supports, they could all agree that the current GOP shitshow is too horrific to let into the Oval Office.

I'm voting for Clinton in the primary, but I'll vote for whoever gets the Democratic nomination (though I do think Sanders is less electable in the general than Clinton is).

I’m curious myself because I was born outside the US but to an American citizen.

I sometimes wonder about this since I was adopted by Canadian Citizens while they were legal residents in the United States. Of course my adoption is sealed so from a legal standpoint it appears that I was born to Canadian citizens on U.S. soil.

I know people who dislike Clinton enough (too Hawkish, too part of the establishment they hate) that they'd stay home and not vote.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

They've called Iowa for Clinton just barely, by like 2 points. Basically a tie. Trump gave a speech trying to spin coming in 2nd as a win. Any chance he'll take his hair and go home now...

I need to get around to getting my Canadian ID card since I'm of the right age that I got scooped up in the Wake Up Canadian thing a few years ago.
