This article helps me understand the model, but I still find it a little mind-boggling. [link]

Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I'd like to do my taxes, but the electronic w2 from old CSC is being held hostage. It insists I don't exist. Which means I'll have to wait for the paper and hope they didn't fuck that up. I mean, they lost $1750 of my HSA for a month or so....
I found out a college friend is in town just for a day and was going to head over after work, but then her dinner plans moved up and now I have heard nothing. It would be 8 at the earliest to get to her at this point. Crazy, but I think it's past the point I am willing to head out to quickly see someone.
There are times I think about looking for a different job to see if I could get a salary bump that way. Then I look at the fact that I like my job, I have good connections at work, and the luxury to work flexible hours and flexible locations. So, fear of change and starting over somewhere else has kept me here.
Okay, legit question because I've never bought a car outright before (I've always financed it, so the dealer held the title until it was paid):
We have the title for our new car in our names. We just need to take it to a BMV branch to register it, right? We don't need to go to the title agency first? The title is in our names and notarized and whatnot.
(Without you guys, I would fail SO HARD at adulting.)

I think so, yes. I need to to to a title agency, because my title for my car is from Pennsylvania, and apparently I need a new one for Ohio. But if you've got the title, then you should be good. I think.
Your the title holder so you just need to take it in. That's what I did when I registered my car. At least I think...not my current one but the previous one.
Gosh, it's been so long since I bought a car, but when I did, the dealership did the paperwork. I just waited for the plates to come in the mail.
I think the title is all the dmv asks for so you should be good...I think.
Okay, I'll stop ranting and whining about work now. I just needed to share with people who understand.
I'll jump into the 'work, right?' pool.
I had to fire two people today and fix about a dozen problems for other people. Then, a group I should be able to trust, published member's contact information without permission.
When I brought up my concerns...to a man who has devoted his entire life to stopping stalking/violence against women and posted something about this being 'data security day'...I got lambasted.
What is UP with this day. Seriously.
Bah.
But if you've got the title, then you should be good. I think.
Cool. At first I thought we needed to go to a title agency, but that's for things like transferring a title, or out-of-state stuff, like you need to do.
Our temp tags expire tomorrow (way to cut it super close, Mr. & Mrs. B.!) (but in our defense, we just got the title in the mail last week), so we need to take care of it tomorrow for sure. Our reward is a $30 gift card to the Godiva store. (Well, it's not specifically a register-your-car reward; Dad always buys Godiva for people at Christmas, and when you spend a certain amount, you get a gift card to spend later. He always gives it to us, and it expires at the end of January, I assume so that people won't use it for Valentine's Day stuff. Anyway, free Godiva, yay! And $30 of free Godiva, double yay!)
