I got stupid. The money was too good.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Sweet, Sheryl! Bananas are great in that you can squish them up so easy. And I can still remember when I was eating an overripe pear and Franny grabbed it and started eating it out of my hand. She was maybe 7 months old or so and I was so clueless it hadn't even occurred to me that I could feed her something that didn't come in a wee jar.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We've started introducing fruits and vegetables to the little guy's diet. Bananas were a big hit, and I can safely say that the little guy likes carrots. :)

Yay! We're starting food in two weeks or so. We started her on vitamin D drops last week, and she is so intrigued by their raspberry flavor. And she really really wants my teacup in the morning.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have a friend who, with her first kid, had her feeding herself from the start. They would put her down on a tarp and give her a spear of avocado or cooked sweet potato or whatever and let her go for it! Needless to say, the second kid did not get that...

We're going to try a combination of feeding her and child led weaning where she feeds herself. We're just going to take it slow and see how it goes.

Our wings are not tired.

Just like we all are different as adults, the babies are all different when it comes to what works with eating. #1 couldn't have cared less about solid food and #2 was all about it.

Our wings are not tired.

Now that I think about it #1 still has little interest in food and #2 is still all about it! That may explain why the younger brother has a 100 pound weight advantage over his older brother. (One overweight the other underweight, both healthy)

I'm fairly confident that ltc is going to love food, but she could surprise me.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oy, this day. It would be super awesome if people could give me more than an hour's notice that they were a) scheduling and/or b) cancelling things that take me more than an hour to prepare for. This must be Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am finally going to write the thing I was going to write at the end of the work day, before I got caught up in several important and interesting conversations. Here's hoping.

Punishingly Intricate

2019 is the 100th anniversary of my one grandmother's birth as well.

2019 will also be the 100th anniversary of one of my grandmother's births, also. And she was my age now when I was born. Time sure is crazy!
