Steph, I have no words. I am so sorry. Much love to you and everyone who loved her.

I found out a little more, which is still bad, but in a different way. The background is that she was assaulted over the weekend, but was at her home on Sunday. Her family found her body Monday. Autopsy results showed painkillers in her system, but they had been prescribed for her; what was in her bloodstream was a higher dose than had been prescribed, but not super high. So it may have been an accidental overdose, which is a whole other kind of horrible. It also might have been intentional, but there was no note or anything, so it's not conclusive.
The family wants a private service and burial, so our friends will have a memorial service later.
I'm glad she wasn't murdered, but...damn. My heart hurts. (Not like Lang heart attack pain. Metaphorically.)
Oh no. That she was attacked was bad enough. And if it was an accidental overdose...man.
Right? I don't know what to think. I feel like an intentional overdose would have been the whole bottle. It sounds like an accident, like she forgot how much she took, or her tolerance was really high so she took more, or something.
Oh, it's so awful, whichever facts are correct. So very sad.
Yeah, I'm kind of done with 2016 and the first month isn't even over.
Timelies all!
I'm so sorry, Steph.
Either way, deeply tragic.
A pregnant friend of mine just got back from an extended stay in the US Virgin Islands, which I guess is also a place that has the Zika virus. She's going to get a blood test.
I am so sorry, Tep. How terrible.
