Ugh. Sorry msbelle that sounds like a terrible day. So sorry about your cat.

I'm on vacation this week so I won't lose quite so much vacation time when the end of the fiscal year comes Monday. Unfortunately that mistake with the water bill is still causing me trouble. I seemed to have screwed up something else too, but I'm not sure what exactly. So, not very relaxing so far. I've been very busy with various tasks and chores, which is good, but that hasn't left much time for relaxing either. However, I think I can finish up editing my book this week. I got a break and had to wait a long time for a doctor's appointment and that gave me a chance to do a lot of proofreading.

OMG and someone just pushed their task on to me. There is cursing.

My computer is being flaky as hell today. On my third reboot. I think there is a corruption in one of my Excel files, but I need to update for a deadline and don't have time to troubleshoot and it needs to just limp along for now. But faster.

My knees hurt today, and I was going to be lazy and just let ltc nap in the swing. But I decided it was important for her to try and nap in the crib. I think she is mostly asleep now, and with any luck, she will stay that way at least long enough for me to eat lunch.

sj, do you watch Jane the Virgin? I think they've done a better job than most shows of showing what being a new parent is actually like. Last night was sleep training.

My meeting that was scheduled for 2.5 hours was actually only a little over an hour! Yay!

Jesse, no I don't, but I probably should. The show started when I was still going through fertility treatment, and the idea of a show about a pregnancy after 1 accidental IUI treatment made me violently angry. I could probably handle it now.

I can see that! I never watched the first season anyway so you could just jump in to her with the baby. The plot is crazy and there's a lot of recapping.
