That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

It was snowing a little bit - like, I saw flakes - when I came home at 12.3o. But it is not yet affecting roadways. I am a little *issy that *ublic schools closed for the whole day.

Fillo is *laying a video game and yelling, "By Jove!" at it. The only thing he ate for lunch was an entire cucumber. Cas*er is on the *ad wearing footie *ajamas and my down coat.

(my * is still broken. As are several other keys./

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I am a little *issy that *ublic schools closed for the whole day.

Yeah, they could have let out early. That shouldn't be that difficult to coordinate.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I like Burrell's asshat author theory.

I never know what to bring to a potluck. I am paralyzed with indecision.

I usually bring apple pie if I'm on desserts or wild rice salad [link] if I'm on sides.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I often try to bring something vegetarian or vegan. That wild rice salad looks really good. I like this too: [link]

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

My go-to party/potluck contribution is semi-homemade spinach dip in a bread bowl.

Though it occurs to me that potlucks in San Francisco might not suffer from the problem of not enough vegetarian food.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I never know what to bring to a potluck.

Yeah, that's super hard. I like when there's a theme or guideline of some sort, otherwise it's just - make whatever I would eat if I was home but enough for a group? IDK

"this information is not needed."

That's "I would prefer not to" in disguise, yes?

flea's *'s make her posts look cryptic and mysterious. It's kind of great.

Management wants feedback on how last year went, what changes we'd like to see, etc. Which is good, I guess, that they care, but it's like every level of management is separately asking open-ended questions and I've already forgotten most of 2015.

My eyes are still dialated from exam and I need to work! Stupid fuzzy everything.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

"I would prefer not to" seems to be my motto for today. I'm getting nothing done.
