I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Webex for something that 90% does not apply to me. Awesome.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Man, Mercury is always in retrograde.

I think raaaage might require complex carbs and electrolytes.

Weird, Dana.

I was shaking, and carbs make me kind of zippy and weird. Protein chills me out. Though a banana is a carb. I guess the banana is mitigated by the cottage cheese.

I've had cottage cheese and a banana. I am un-Hulking.

Need to go to the library and pick up the first TPB of Squirrel Girl and the DVD of What We Do in the Darkness. And then exercise.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Steph, authors like that just piss me off. Whiny entitled brats. I had one guy try to explain to me how to use parentheses. He was wrong too.

On your other topic, it always amuses/annoys me that of all the things my family could truly worry about in regards to my well-being, all they focus on is my weight. High blood pressure? Blame it on the weight. Asthma? Fat. Depression? You'd feel so much better if you lost the weight! Autoimmune system disorder causing me to lose almost all the hair on my body? Hey, it's cool you don't have to shave anymore! NO IT REALLY ISN'T. This is the same disease, manifesting slightly differently, that slowly killed my mother, but it's much easier to focus on the thing that's obvious (oh and also doesn't affect anyone else in the family so it's not scary for them, is it?) Fuck. Never mind that I had asthma and depression when I was thin, too.

Sorry, I'm in a bad mood all of a sudden.

I saw my XBIL pull the same crap with I'm the President of the American Institute of Physics! once. What a tool.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Now all of a sudden I'm sad that we're not going to get significant snow here. I think maybe because 6" is my least favorite amount of snow here -- enough that you have to actually shovel and it's a pain in the ass, not enough to keep anyone from doing anything.

psst. 6" is enough to stop the world from turning, if you live here.

My cousin who died was quite slender, so I'm saving that card in my back pocket should I need to play it.

I'm still much more heavily (no pun intended) inclined to believe that weight is a marker but not a cause, as in, some people's excess weight is indeed due to lack of physical activity, but it's the lack of physical activity that's the real killer. The weight is just a marker. That's why some skinny people (like my cousin) have heart attacks and die. t edit Also why I'm going to exercise in a little bit.

I haven't seen a lot of research explaining what properties adipose tissue has that make it deadly. I'm willing to change my mind, but I'm super into evidence-based medicine.

I know, I know. That's why you should only get the couple of inches and we can have the couple of feet!

Banana and cottage cheese covers a lot of recommendations, good call.

I somehow want the response to this to involve an offer of gum.
