Watching the fog ebb and flow up the hillside outside the office is like being on the shore of a very odd ocean.

Snowing a little here! First time I've seen it snow here at all this winter.
We're getting our first snow of the winter today too. It's been snowing lightly all morning, and barely sticking at all. We're supposed to get 5-8 inches on Friday, though.
Oh jeez, I just looked at our long-range forecast, and it shows 8-12 inches of snow next weekend, which would give us all such bad flashbacks! That's when we had the first big snow last year, too. And then it just never stopped.
Yeah, not sticking here. But succeeding in unmotivating me completely. Refilling the water bottle and getting up to change the radio station from the most painfully awkward and dry local cooking show are about as accomplished as I'm managing.

It is wise to use your limited energy for this. They are The Worst!
I'm getting up to go to the store in a minute (TOILET PAPER MILK !!!! not really...need groceries for the week) but mostly because I'm really cold and I can blast the heat in the car more easily than I can at home.
I'm wearing a blanket of cats, so I'm actually a little too warm....
It's gray and drizzly here, supposed to be sunny tomorrow, so I will put off yard work until then. Just going to finish this cup of coffee (particularly delicious today, for some reason) and then back to the kitchen. Took a break for a few days, I hope to make significant progress today.
Although it is also that most wonderful time of the year Restaurant Week, so I should take myself out to lunch. Both the places offering lunch menus are closed on Mondays and getting out for a sit down meal during the week is challenging.
I can do both.
Shoot, the place I planned to have lunch is only open for dinner on the weekends. Oh well, opens up my schedule, I guess.
Oh, that's right, in much of the country tomorrow's a holiday. In Utah, it's "Why didn't I get mail? Why was the bank closed?" day.
