Right? I checked Beep Me, and yet...

Leaving us HANGING, MAN.

No kidding!

Also, I would totally have that person towed, what a jackass! Who parks in front of a driveway??

can drink coffee and eat nothing and not be hungry until lunch. If I eat breakfast (usually steel cut oatmeal and fruit, or string cheese) I am usually hungry by 9:30. This is totally nonsensical to me.

This is totally me. These days I usually have coffee (with a bit of cream), 100 calories of turkey sausages, and a 100 calorie meal-thing from my diet plan (sometimes a bar, sometimes "pancakes", etc). But then I have something else about 3 hours later...

Yep, same.

I need to make another batch of mini-quiches that I can quickly reheat and eat for breakfast. It's too easy for me to skip breakfast, what with not being a morning person, aside from my travel mug of coffee + goat milk. I try to keep KIND bars and single-serve packets of peanut butter in my laptop bag for when I rush out of the apartment without remembering to eat, or when I get stuck in traffic.

Sigh. Not only did I not win the powerball, I didn't even match a single number, in the five tickets I had. I mean, $10 down the drain is far from a financial burden, it's worth it to dream, but yeesh!

Mm, quiches are delicious.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Lots of people park in front of my driveway. It's really narrow and easy to miss, and also there isn't enough room between my driveway and the neighbor's to fit a car, so some people know it's there and block it anyway. A combination of don't see and don't care, I guess.

Which reminds me, I should check to see if he's gone so I can actually put my car in my driveway.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I matched one number. Woohoo?

Also one number on SuperLottoPlus.

I feel certain this 2nd Chance drawing is a bad idea, but I'm entering anyway, what the hell. But I'm not getting the mobile app. That's going too far.

Maybe you should paint your driveway red.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

When Harvey gets snuggly just before I leave for work, I tell him, "When you turn 18, you can buy lottery tickets. Then when you win the lottery, you can pay me to stay home and snuggle you." As his 18th birthday approaches (ok, it's in April, but I am feeling optimistic), I find myself trying to think of places to buy lottery tickets that would let me bring the cat in, being a special occasion and all.

BBC is reporting that Alan Rickman has died.

My response: "Always."

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, no. Oh, shit. Come on, Universe. Bowie and Rickman in one week?
