That sounds super cool!
Has anyone here been to Chile? (Santiago and northern) My friend and I are going in March (sadly this means no Mexico trip this year!!) and we are trying to figure out what we want to do and how long to spend in different parts, etc. (northern half only--we are going to the atacama desert, and would love to have time to ALSO do Patagonia etc but just can't).
The trip looks like it was fantastic, Zen. Totally a well-deserved way to end the year.
I'd love to start my own company. Freelance Editing and Design, Inc. Is there room for a band of roaming editors and other freelancers that's got together and incorporated for the group benefits and a company accountant?
Please to accept my application, as well.
The problem with starting a company is that then you have to deal with clients and employees, and when you dislike people, that's a problem.
The Globe tour sounds awesome!
I had my annual physical today, which generally went well. The nurse was apparently trying to get blood to squirt out of my fingertips with the BP cuff, so my doctor redid it and got a much more reasonable 124/78 reading. Also got a diagnosis of mild tendonitis in my left Achilles tendon that should fade as I continue to lose weight, which was what I expected.

I think Vortex is there right now.
Sounds/looks like a great trip, Zenkitty! Jealous.

Pretty sure Kat P is who you want on Chile.
Oh! Right! How did I forget that about Kat?? Will hit her up.
Vortex IS in Chile right now, but mostly visiting her brother, apparently.
down to mixing (I think) goat hair in with the plaster.
Yes, goat hair! It makes the plaster mixture adhere better to the wall (she said). They
shaved goats for this plaster.
My friend and traveling companion Katie ganked my SD chip while I was sleeping, copied my photos, and uploaded her photos onto it, so now we both have both my photos and hers. So I'm uploading over 1000 photos to Flickr. I'll sort them out when they get there. Flickr hates me.

Ugh, exactly.

Count me in!

Yes, but not insurmountable!
Bought my Living Social Voucher for the Super Run in San Diego in March, off to register now!
Your pictures have been wonderful Zen. I want to see the Globe so badly. One day.
So, it is a brand new day for Suziq. I slept well last night. First time in a few days. Fever seems to be gone, flu symptoms have not developed, I just feel exhausted and only slightly dizzy.
