At the doc. 101.1 fever on Aleve. Waiting for the results of a flu swab. If that is positive, at least it is early enough to treat. Oh, add in major dehydration thanks to the fever. Joy.

Something fixable is always good.
Timelies all!
Something easily treatable~ma for you Suzi.
Yes, Connie.
So, not officially the flu but my doc is pretty certain it is just so early. She said tomorrow will likely be worse and if it is, then she will call in flu meds.
Basically I need to quarantine myself for a couple of days, which kinda screws up some plans. I'm supposed to give new volunteer training Saturday.
I'm glad you went to the doctor, Suzi. Bummer about needing to wait on meds for it to get worse, but fingers crossed that either way you don't suffer too long with this.
Aw, man, Suzi! Glad you are getting it figured out early and hope the meds work fast.
Ugh, Suzi. I hope you start feeling better soon. You deserve a break!
Coworker angst. I'm so irritated. He is so cranky that I don't even feel comfortable saying "hey, I see you're stressed, want to talk? Is there anything I can do, or stop doing, to make your life less hectic?" I tried doing that in actions and it totally backfired and earned me the stink eye. So now I want to just punch him in the face. Because what I really want to say is "you left a gigantic fucking mess that impacts staff, tenants, and rental, and whined about how you need the mess and more and really it's all my boss' fault that you made the mess in the first place and here's the only feasible solution-- oh, you enacted my solution? I won't thank you for the timesaver that I should appreciate because I'm so overworked, and instead do what you wanted in the first place and give you the stinkeyevthe next time I see you".
Dude, I was happy with your solution.
Since I can't win, I'm done having discourse with this person (including onsite over site when he isn't). He's an island and I'm marooning the fucker.
Suzi, I'm glad you saw the doctor, and I hope the meds get your flu stopped in its tracks.
I have indulged a bit too freely with the rosemary bread, the odd toasted cheese sandwich, random cookies, and I'm now paying for the wheat indulgence. Woken out of a sound sleep last night with full-body aches. Creaked out of bed, downed tylenol and ibu, and slept the good sleep till morning. Gut is not happy with me, still. Banana and applesauce for dinner. I may go wild and put a shot of ginger ale in my clear soda. Woo!
I know that feel, Bev. Not fun.
