Oh, I'm registered for the bubble run in Sacramento in June, a coworker wanted to do it. It didn't occur to me you might be up for one that far away from you, sorry to assume! We're signed up for the 8am start, for what that's worth.
Super Run SF [link]
I ordered some food earlier, planning to eat some of it tonight and put some in the fridge for tomorrow. I just got hungry, so I took out the pad thai that I'd put in the fridge, and it has egg in it, even though I ordered it without egg. (I've ordered from this place plenty of times before, with no problem.) And it's too late the call the restaurant now to complain, since the restaurant is probably closed. Would it be ridiculous to call them tomorrow?
Oh well! I will think about if I want to sign up for that, or San Jose.

I never know what to do in that sort of situation, Hil. If you frame it as you need to confirm that you can order from them in the future with confidence, maybe?
I have not signed up for the super run yet, I was still dithering. But if you are game, let's do it!
ETA - also, I see the bubble run has early bird pricing through tomorrow, if you can make up your mind that fast...

I'm also going to strongly recommend the Hogwarts Running Club [link]. One of the nicest, most enthusiastic and supportive group of runners. It's all through facebook which makes it manageable and in one place. They celebrate walkers as much as runners. They do virtual runs with great medals and they donate a tremendous amount of money to charities -- last year it was $400,000 to a variety of charities and that's what $25 race fee goes towards (bling and charity). They do so much good.

I have a blister on my heel just from wearing my old Mary Janes for ita. I'm not running anywhere. Woes.
Signed up for a 5k connected with the cowtown marathon. Benefits local children's hospital and there are finisher medals so yay! I have thus far only gotten t-shirts.
