The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I've mentioned before that the id cards at work are called PIV cards, right?

OMG.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Thank you Anne! I am finding ones for my mom and I to do together.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am watching Angel and I am amused that I have been thinking of Jeremy Renner as sort of a low rent Nathan Fillion, when in the ro I am watching, he is sort of a low rent David Boreanaz. Joss when'd on does have a type!

I am not sure there can be a low rent David Boreanaz.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's funny, Sophia.

I'm signed up for a "bubble run" in June, and I want to do the two dog-friendly races I know about (though we will probably walk at least one of them, I let Walter set the pace on those). I keep checking the Chardonnay Run for their next San Jose race, because that was a lot of fun. I'm still going through the calendar of my favorite race organizers to try to decide which of theirs I can realistically do, and in doing that I got tempted by the "Run the Bay Challenge". I do love a bonus medal. I need to get off my ass (and, more to the point, out of the kitchen) and train, though.

I would like to do the super run, although thinking about it has already got me worrying about what I appropriate outfit I could put together.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I would totally do a Chardonnay run (walk) again, and I have been meaning to investigate others to do as well. I could do that tonight, in fact.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I've been search on active.com, do people use other sites?

Do you have a running store/running group in your area? Our running store's website has a continually updated calendar of races in the area.

I do love a bonus medal.

The Flying Pig Marathon does a 3-way challenge and a 4-way challenge (named for/sponsored by Skyline Chili): the 3-way is the 5K and 10K (both on a Saturday) and the half marathon (which is the next day); the 4-way is the 5K, 10K, and full marathon. You get a bonus medal and a plaque to display all 4 medals. I think Tim's brother is doing the 3-way this year. He's done the full marathon the past several years, so I guess he's decided that isn't enough of a challenge.

I would like to do the super run, although thinking about it has already got me worrying about what I appropriate outfit I could put together.

There were some impressive outfits at ours, including a Storm, a Rocket Raccoon, a whole family of Incredibles, and a Winter Soldier. Not as many Flashes as you'd think for a running event.
