Yay for betterness!
That is impressive, Sophia.

It took me so long to re-write it! I hope the professor isn't upset, but that was incoherent!
I used to help people fine tune their papers in college. I remember combining some short sentences into a compound with an introductory clause, and the person who wrote the paper originally looked at me like I'd performed successful open-heart surgery right in front of her, with a paper clip and a pocket knife. "That's brilliant! How did you do that!" I really should have charged more.
I have had The Elements stuck in my head since I heard a story on the radio yesterday about some new unstable elements that have been confirmed. I apparently know it slightly better than Modern Major General, although I doubt I ever knew the whole thing. Also, kinda surprised that Tom Lehrer is still alive.
Hahahah, we're technically Hope in Transit Association, which is formally abbreviated Ass'n, which never fails to amuse me.
I'll probably do the Heart Mini, because I really should support the American Heart Association. But the medal for the Bockfest 5K is a bottle opener!
I say pick Bockfest. Support the AHA in other more direct ways. Do 5Ks that make you want to do them more.
(Granted, I am doing the Hot Chocolate 15K this weekend that has chocolate and marshmallows throughout the course. So I clearly pick races that are funny more than charity. Though all of my Harry Potter races are charity).
I'm hoping to do this 5K in October: [link]
It's good to have a goal to work towards. And with that, I'm off to the Y.
Timelies all!
I've mentioned before that the id cards at work are called PIV cards, right? Talk about unfortunate acronyms...
