Naturally. This kid is all about speed and kinetics. He's also got kinda high testosterone, which is what everyone attributes his competitiveness to (until you know his mom.)

If he could reach the pedals, my brother'd be teaching him to drive. Elder nephew has got a few lessons, is content to be chauffeured. (I told him to come visit, my clutch is nowhere near the bears my brother's cars are. )

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, the Army is doing a study about MREs and they're looking for volunteers to only eat MREs for three weeks. You get "up to" $200. Which might be OK if you didn't also have to:

During the study you will visit our lab in Natick, MA for ~3 hours 4 separate times. We will also meet with you at our lab or at your home/place of work for 30-60 min at least 3 days/week during the study. Data collection will include questionnaires, and blood, urine and fecal samples.

Yikes.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Groceries, laundry, DVR. Yup, its a typical Sunday here.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am not sure how I'm going to be ready to go to work tomorrow. Just showering is still exhausting! And I've been sleeping 9 hours a night.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I slept for over 10 hours last night, it was glorious! Trying to get going this morning, however, is a challenge. I think I will need an actual pen-and-paper to do list today.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I didn't sleep that long. I better take a nap to make up for it.

Happy Brthday Shrift!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

WTF why do I have hiccups? Fuck off, body.

Happy Birthday, Shrift!

Got in a run with the dog before the rain started. I was really tempted not to go, but it's going to rain all week, so if I don't run today that might be it. I went, and she was good, and I walked a bit, and got caught by the zombies once, but at least I went.

Now I have to decide if I want to go to the store and set up the slow cooker to make this recipe, which looks very yummy. And then maybe take Dad to the movies...

Punishingly Intricate

Slept for ages after finally getting home last night. Man, I haven't been so hung over in years! Stupid Reykjavik! (Just joking, I'm the stupid one. Reykjavik was awesome!)

Futzing around a lot and meal planning for the week. I'll do some yoga in a bit then have a bath, I think! Then grocery store and cooking. Doing this, to some extent, again:

I love starting out the year this way!
