I have no idea, but I had a fantastic cocktail the other day at a restaurant with ginger beer, cachaca, and lime. I need to recreate it sometime, but at the moment I have neither cachaca nor ginger beer. It was called a Brazilian Holy Water, fwiw. Also I finally tried fernet for the first time at someone's house over Christmas. Better late than never.

I had mexican food before the 5K. maybe not the best decision. This 5K was sparse and almost no walker so mom and I were alone and since it was dark toward the end, we missed a turn or something and had to go off path to get back back on the right path. We skipped going through the finish and just went to the car. still done.

At 5:15 (while at the 5k) got a text inviting mac to a party, nothing like no planning! jesus. so now waiting for him to get showered and ready

We're watching The Great Ziegfeld and it's not very good, despite having lots of William Powell in a tuxedo. It's very slow-paced.

I'm home alone tonight. Well, me and the animals though they are all ignoring me right now. I'm also in horrible pain. The left side of my jaw is angry with me. I can't tell if it is dental pain or my trigeminal neuralgia flaring up despite my meds. Vicodin isn't touching the pain, so I'm thinking it is not dental. It has been a miserable day and I hate that I'll be ringing in the new year feeling like shit.

I'm sorry, Suzi. That's no way to end the year. Would ice help or make it worse?

I think I am to the point where I cannot be quite as single-minded in my kitchen cleaning as I would like, so I'm going to watch Black Mirror while I wait for things to dry, etc.
