I'm going to see to Wesley, see if he's still whimpering.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My FSA year doesn't have to be the calendar year, right? I'm 90% sure it's Oct 1, but everyone has me scared!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Gah. I think I still have some money left in my HSA. Time to refill some prescriptions...

I'm back to the gym after FINALLY taking some rest to let an injured hip heal rather than constantly re-injuring it. Good lord, I've lost a lot of ground in just a handful of weeks. I have to keep reminding myself that once I'm back at things for a couple of weeks, I'll feel more like my old self again.

(The hip injury was sustained in avoiding a fall - a doormat shot out from under my foot, and I essentially did a one-legged squat with massive torque to keep from smacking my head on concrete.)

I worked today. didn't finish everything I really should before year end, but oh well.

My library seems to have a puny ebook selection.

So glad my HSA is the rollover kind. When I had a FSA, didn't use it because outside dentistry, don't have any predictable expenses.

Today I acquired and assembled a 3 cubby bench and drawers to put at the foot of the bed and got all the shit off my window bench. [link] Had too many socks and rags I like to keep handy for cleanup just piled up there. Thought I had another cloth drawer, but no, so will get one tomorrow. I'm gonna fill it with seasonal PJs instead of rooting through the overfilled milk crates in the closet. Those will hold the unseasonal PJs.

Covered it with the quilt my grandma made for me as a baby.

I have boarded! My flight is a little delayed, but not by much. I'll take it.

I just realized that I have a vacation scheduled in six weeks! I mean, I've known about it, but now that it's nearly January, it's actually close!

FSA is different depending on your employer. Ours rolls over to March 1.

Things that are FSA okay eligible that seem weird to me, but are still cool -- bandages, ice packs, first aid kits, braces and supports (like Ace wraps), sunscreens, lip balm, shoe inserts (like Dr. Scholls).

we cannot get anything from drugstores on our FSA anymore, strictly prescribed things and offsetting co-pays/non-covered office visit things.

Who the hell starts a batch of cookies at 10:30 pm so she'll have cookies for the neighbors out in the field for fireworks?

Oops. Hope it doesn't rain.
