When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yesterday, I had a lot of plans to Get Things Done today.

Today, I just don't care.

I am probably more of a sportsball person than a fic person, really, and I have to admit I never got the hang of IRC, but that does seem very wrong.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

In the airport, where our flight is delayed an hour and a half. Sigh...

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ugh, have had a sore throat all day, well past the point where it could be blamed on how I breathed while sleeping. Oh well, I guess after hugging a half dozen children and sharing air with dozens of people from three families, it was unavoidable. At least it didn't get in the way of any holiday celebrations, or getting to break a long dry spell yesterday, and so far Mom and Dad have no symptoms to report.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hello and happy holidays all! I have been pretty out of sight all week with family and house cleaning and the occasional breakdown. But it was a good Christmas all in all. Highlights included finally having the house cleaned and the food prepared in time to enjoy Christmas eve dinner with family and seeing TFA on the 26th.

I overbought on tamales for the holiday but have been happily eating them ever since.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Suzi, so sorry for your loss.

Had a great time out with my sister and a couple of her friends (who I know) last night. But OMG, four drinks was way too many (though one was DELICIOUS, and I vaguely remember announcing that it tasted like perfect delicate christmas??), and seeing Star Wars in 3D while hungover? REALLY bad plan. Had to take my migraine meds and nap for a few hours, and let my sister and her fam go to the friend's brownies and champagne party while I stayed home. :(

Am very ready to be back at home in Seattle, too. So ready. (But I don't leave until Tuesday)

Hope the breakdowns have been brief, Burrell? Tamales sound delicious!

I am now leaving about the time I was supposed to land. Goddamn weather in Dallas.

But my great grandfather's corkscrew made it through security ( I meant to check it but forgot) so there's that. Though the mortar and pestle raised eyebrows.
