I, for one, wasn't looking forward to starting my day with a slaughter. Which, really, just goes to show how much I've grown

Compassionately intolerant

Oh my lord, no.

I'm concerned about the artist who designed that clock. Fever dream, perhaps?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I just watched The Holiday, which was a mistake, because I'm pretttty sure I'm not going to meet my soulmate on the plane tomorrow.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Are you going to Vegas, Jesse?

Not this time! San Diego to see family.

Never say never!

Obviously I keep hope alive!

But you COULD, Jesse! Who knows? (I mean, I'm on planes a lot and have yet to meet even a friend, much less a soulmate, but still!).

So after bleaching large swaths of the house this morning, so far we seeeeeem to be doing ok on the sickness thing. I mean, my cold is making me crazy in that it's hit the "can only breathe through my mouth" phase, which is inconvenient for sleeping and for eating, but otherwise all good. Fingers crossed. Am definitely wanting to be home, much as I love my sister and BIL--the kiddo is exhausting, and I don't find their house terribly comfy? It's too chaotic/cluttered for me to not be a bit on edge in.

Have fun, Jesse! Soulmate or no soulmate!
