Hey Plei -- I'm not going to comment on your post, but know that I am thinking negative thoughts toward your sister. FWIW.

Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Ha! Well, I've told her I'm not going to comment on my post, too, but I may or may not have been on the phone with her when I saw it and given her a five minute lecture on how it's not a competition, how it doesn't actually help to focus on how much worse other people have it, and how I've spent thousands of dollars unlearning the crappy coping mechanisms we both have.
Also, I reminded her it was more than one friend, that my kid was in the damn PICU, and some other crap, too.
Good, good.
The cheddar biscuits were indeed wonderful and I am pleasantly full. I have to admit though, that I needed the reminder that our local Red Lobster is actually kinda sub-par for the chain. Outback grills up tastier lobster and other shellfish, though of course not with as much variety.
I guess it's my day for good-but-not-as-good-as-it-should-have-been food. For lunch I got a chicken salad croissant from the juice bar that's just opened next door to me, and while it was fine it didn't turn out nearly as good as the description sounded.
I mean, obviously not the bad stuff! The other stuff! Sheesh, Jesse.
My therapist would be SO PROUD.
Plei, I'm cosigning what Jesse says.
As am I. And way to tell her not to pull that shit on you. Go therapy!
Gold star for Plei.
Today while my mom and I visited my grandmother, my dad channeled his inner 10 yr old and ate so many cookies that he's sick now. That's taking "young at heart" a bit far, dad.
