I went with a friend to see a show tonight--"Come From Aeay", which is about all the planes that landed in Newfoundland on 9/11. Didn't realize it was a musical!! But it was awesome...even though we missed the first 20 minutes because my friend who bought the tickets told me it was at 8. We got there at 750 and found out it started at 730 (better than at 7?). Then we went dancing where we got to meet our friend's out of town girl that she's been mad texting for the last month. We approve. AND, the 26 year old was there...and then apparently got mad I wouldn't come beg her to be on the dance floor (?? I was dancing, she could've just...gotten up) and stormed out. Uh, ok girl. Wtf. Rolling my eyes forever.

Pix and Drew, how awful! And poor Wilson... I hope the little guy is feeling better.

Back from an early trip to market. Gotta finish packing and go swim. Which I really don't feel right at this moment, so packing. Flight isn't until 6, so.

That's a lot to deal with, Pix and ND. Best wishes for as much smooth sailing as possible. And kitty~ma for them that needs it.

I have recovered from the stomach flu, and will feel safe in Xmas indulging because I lost about 6-7lbs in 48 hours. I just had a bagel, which was the first thing I ate without fearing it.

Ugh, msbelle, I am sending love and support to you, and gentle clue vibes to mac. It's so hard and I don't have any advice as I know you are doing the kinds of things I'd be doing in that situation. Franny's grades are going to be okay, but her grade in math took a nose dive right at the end, when it counts. Oh well. I watched her beat herself up and decided not to join in, but I will be meeting with her teacher next year.

And Pix and ND, lots of sympathy there. Sounds like a mess, I am so sorry you have to deal with it.

We are going to a nice brunch today when the kids are at the art conservatory. Haven't decided where yet, and I need to go make pancakes for the kids

We had pancakes also this AM. It seems like the first day of vacation is a perfect time for pancakes.

I should go to the post office, but I'm filled with can't this morning. I just can't. At all. And I kinda don't want to. I suck at Christmas for my parents which is making this worse. I think my malaise is related to my cold. I've tried netty pot, mucinex, a hot toddy. Nothing is making me feel better.

I have to do my performance review today. I feel like I'm writhing a legal brief.
