My coworker mentioned today that her husband believes men are discriminated against.
Well, I suppose if he's talking about divorce and custody battles in family court he's correct. Or was he defining discrimination as women's rights and interests not automatically being dismissed in favor of men's?
I didn't ask. Hopefully, my expression made it clear how I felt about that.
Right now, the standard response around here to " I got jury duty summons" is widening eyes and "Freddie Gray?"
So I'm going to let you all practice being Baltimoreans:
I got jury summonses for February 4.
For reals.
I'd recommend department store or maybe Land's End, for swimsuits?
Am making molasses cookies, because I had the ingredients.
Well, sara, that'd be one way to not deal with work for a while. Not really a RECOMMENDED way, but...
I got jury summonses for February 4.
Oh, man.
I'd recommend department store or maybe Land's End, for swimsuits?
I know some (maybe all?) Sears department stores have a Lands End section, although at this time of year, the Lands End section probably doesn't have swimsuits in-store.
Timelies all!
Had a potluck holiday party at work. I made pasta salad. Alas, I wasn't the only one, and ended up taking most of it home. (There wasn't a sign-up sheet.)
I'm getting ideas from Ravelry, and they're suggesting Land's End or Swimsuits for All from online. My current measurements list is at home, so ordering is delayed.
Connie, Vegas might be a good place to buy a swimsuit. A bit of a gamble, I guess, but shopping is one of the things they are a destination for, right?
One of these days I am going to go the airport with just the clothes on my back and a credit card or several and find a cheap flight to somewhere where I can buy everything I need there. Or maybe train station if I have enough time. I can walk to the train station. That just sounds so freeing.
