I look more rad than Lutheranism

Will it be your car or Tim's car?

Well, I work from home, so I don't have a commute. But Tim will drive the old car to work, since he often tracks bits of metal turnings from the warehouse out the door, and would rather get crap in the old car than the newer car.

It's basically our car, though Tim just said it's mine.

Ahaha. Tep is me in 2013 with the m2 after the 97 Sentra. Except, still paying for it, but holy crap, money. Which did have power windows and locks, but still. Aux and USB ports, whaaa? And the stoopid low tire warnings. Those, I resent for their lack of temp compensation. And the m2 is pretty base for its year.

I can't WAIT to plug my iPod into the USB port and rock out to...well, to Hamilton.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Congrats on the new car, Steph!

And glad to hear Finn is recovering well

Ginger's obit made me sad. Such an enormous loss

hip deep in pie

So we had our work Xmas lunch today. I had a caesar salad and one beer. I instantly started feeling bloated and full. I thought it was just the beer. But it didn't go away & I spent the evening with chills, under a bunch of blankets with the heat jacked up. I still can't have a sip of water without stomach cramps.

I don't know if it's coincidental bug or food poisoning. I don't think food poisoning hits that fast though.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Ginger would probably be annoyed by the "courageous battle" part.

This was my thought, too. Thank you for posting, Dana.

Anne, I'm glad Finn is okay.

Hooray for new car!

My burned fingers don't hurt like they did yesterday, but they're swollen and the skin feels kind of thick. I hope the Reynaud's doesn't cause a problem with healing. I suspect good blood flow is necessary for healing, but trying to keep my fingers warm without making the blistered spots hurt has been a little bit of a challenge.

Sue, I've had food poisoning hit a couple hours after eating a bad hamburger.

sarameg - Dec 16, 2015 5:09:35 pm PST #11616 of 30003

Nah, it can. On the rare occasion my cast-iron-to-food-poisoning stomach actually gets hit, it's pretty immediate. But the chills might indicate otherwise.

Selfsame gut is apparently freaking out over convo with my boss and prospect of talking to division. Not as bad as poisoning or roto, but angry. And I skipped the floor party, can't blame them. God I love carrying stresses physically. Been my shoulders since latest bullshit. Now this.

Always Anti-fascist!

Please don't call anything I do a corageous battle unless I take someone down with me.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Ugh, sara. I hope the external situation is resolved soon, so the internal topsy-turvy can right itself. It sounds like there's more than a glimmer of hope, but my digits are still crossed.
