I think rates are low right now and you're better off locking down the fixed rate, Sue? Not sure. I don't like variable rate on principal (principal may be the wrong word, but I don't like it).
They keep warning that rates are going to climb, but they keep falling. I am still .20 less than my last interest rate, but variable was .70 less. It doesn't matter, I still have a pretty great interest rate.
Just remember Teppy, you don't have to buy it tonight. Or tomorrow. I mean, if you do buy it good for you but you don't have to!
True. And in fact, we're taking it to our mechanic so they can look it over, so we won't be buying it tonight at all. But assuming everything is fine with it, we'll likely have a new-to-us car by the weekend.
Loki is not calming me down.
I have, however, done a LOT of laundry and cleaned the kitchen. I'm about to work out to try to burn off some of this ridiculous stress.
Oh, I see. Yeah, I don't know what's absolutely best, but what you got sounds pretty good.
I believe in you, Steph. And yes, yours is a normal reaction.
Shir, have I mentioned lately that I love seeing you here?
Oh, hon. I missed you too.
I brought a picture frame to my team's annual white elephant gift exchange.
I ended up with...a different picture frame.
One frame in, one frame out.
Despite all the shoveling, K-Bug couldn't get her Jeep out of the driveway. Even in 4-wheel drive.
One frame in, one frame out.
The Law of Conservation of Picture Frames.
Earlier I had a little breakdown in my hotel room. I was trying to order take away but my credit card kept rejecting the payment, probably because the billing info didn't match as the restaurant only would accept a local number. Plus I still haven't finished Christmas shopping and the shops in Dublin apparently close at 6pm, I haven't even got a first draft of my Yuletide story, my former manager just scheduled a last minute meeting tomorrow even though we're also meeting on Thursday, and my doctor keeps emailing to urge me to get blood work done for something that's probably nothing but could be a benign tumor or cancer.
I mopped up my face and then went down the street to the grocery for a sandwich, yogurt, and crisps. So. At least I foraged for food, I guess?
I also found out that stores should stay open until 8pm on Thursday, so this will be my designated shopping day.
Now I'm going to drink whiskey and play Bejeweled for 15 minutes and then try to write.
Have a wonderfully productive evening.
