Congrats on the new car, Steph! I agree that $50 is too much for the big bow, but oddly tempting.

I just finished making another batch of butterscotch sauce. Butterbeer did not work, so I'm sticking with butterscotch.

While watching TV, a Kay's jewelry commercial came on. At the end, Noah belted out "every KICK begins with K" which made me feel like he's a little part of ita's legacy.

I socialized this evening. I stopped by Faux-Son's house after work to drop of his present, and I chatted happily with his family for a couple of hours and hugged their big dog. I caught up on gossip about people and talked like grown-ups with him, his wife, and kids. I need to do this more often.

Whereas I holed up after three solid days of family. Watched Brooklyn-9-9 and two episodes of Jessica Jones. Which I shall have to ration because sheesh, it's creepifying.

Well, I was planning to go into the office but I have the sweats again, so the fever hasn't broken and I'm unwilling to expose everybody at the office to whatever I've got.

I should order take away and get paracetamol from a pharmacy at some point today.
