AND Carol of the Bells, which I possibly hate more thanks to years of choir.

Any chance this could be the cure for that, Jilli? [link]

Because books.

That's awesome, Matt.

I like LDB! But I like all the carols, really. "Away in a Manger" is my sentimental favorite.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

My band is here for our Christmas party, and I am sick in bed. Boo. But it's getting pretty drunk out there, so maybe that's for the best...

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

...and now the labyrinthitis kicks in. I am so over this shit.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, bummer, Liese!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It was really bad tonight. But the SO, with his impeccable memory, reminds me that it was like this in 2008 too, and probably means I still have about ten days to go, so I'm about halfway through if last time was an indicator. He says that we went to the doctor on day nine and it got bad on day ten. Which is what today is. So even though that's bad, it's kind of encouraging because at least I know what's going on.

Emirates will not let me print a boarding pass because they want me to pick it up in person.

I can't get into the Hyderabad airport without a boarding pass.

I foresee complications.

What is even happening?

I do not understand the lbd hate. 12 days is the real enemy holiday song.

Okay, yes. Exactly.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I do not understand the lbd hate. 12 days is the real enemy holiday song.

In a world with "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer," both of those songs are delightful. (Though I really don't care for LDB.)

The dogs barking Jingle Bells are better than "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer."

Well, it turns out Emirates wouldn't let me print because the site didn't actually save the passport information I entered. Boarding pass printing now!

I almost upgraded to Business Class for $380 and realized at the last minute that the upgrade only applied to the 4 hour flight between Hyderabad and Dubai, not the much longer flight from Dubai to Dublin. Boo.
