No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Ave atque vale...the far too many.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Thanks, Zen.

And thank you, Buffistas, for once again being such a shining example of what happens when a whole community loves really, really hard.

The rest of it can go suck eggs, though.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh, god. This another hard loss. I'm becoming too acquainted with this in my fifties.

Of many memories and thoughts about Ginger, I'll note that she put me and Emmett up when I went to Georgia for my Dad's memorial. Got to meet Mr. Peabody and see her house and her art collection and her books. Sit in her kitchen and drink coffee with her. And she drove us out to where we needed to pick up the highway, and we all went to Waffle House for breakfast.

And I picked up the check for breakfast, such a little thing, especially after she'd put us up, and I remember that she looked so appreciative and grateful and maybe a little surprised.

I don't think she expected good things to come her way. I don't think she received her fair share of kindness in the world. I know for a fact she gave far more than she received in the world. Gave to so many of us. I wish I could have given her more.

I had so much respect for her, and love and affection.

Thank you for being there for her for us, Zen. It means a thing.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Damn

As an atheist, I am content with my own end. As a human being, I want to meet everyone again.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Well, either way, it's not up to us at all.

Compassionately intolerant

Oh, dear Ginger. God speed you to your peaceful, painless rest.

I keep typing and then deleting. It's so hard to know what to say.
