I've tallied up 11 hours on the phone over the last 5 months trying to convince my new health insurance provider that I have done nothing wrong and that their computer hates me.
After the last of three "You are cancelled" incidents (that's not letters, that's 3 times I've actually been cancelled in 5 months), I told the provider that I was going to the 'state' (DC, so not so much) insurance board and now I'm suddenly on a 'do not cancel' list.
The fact that such a list must exist? Perhaps there is a problem.
Nothing even remotely as troubling as Ginger's travails, but I've essentially had nothing wrong with me. How is it that truly suffering people have to go through even worse?
Boggled.
I will say that the DChealthlink folks have been great but that is only because one of the top dogs is an old friend of mine. It should not take an inside track, you know?
