Yup.
That's a good epiphany. 'Staying more operational" is a good phrase, I'm going to incorporate that into my career-discussions at work.
ETA I have packed my stuff to be ready to go to the gym after work. After running errands the last two days after work, maybe I should jut roll with it and make it work for me?
And a cost for something I never intend to use! Stupid wasteful business plan.
I was not killed in my sleep and Mac was more human this morning.
Glad to hear it, msbelle.
It's not a well designed system, sarameg.
You will all be glad to know that I turned off my fire before leaving the house this morning. And remembered my lunch. Red letter day in tamaraland.
It's always fun to figure out which business jargon best applies to you. Me, I can say I'm best at "customer experience" rather than the technical side of the job, ie, I'm good at explaining to non-techies how to maneuver around our program where as the young techies in the office just want to play with the code.
Yay msbelle for the victorious morning.
And YaY for all the adulting -t!
Had a really brutal therapy session this morning. I don't want to be at work now, but it's too early to drink, so here I am.
Sorry, Tom. Get-through-the-day~ma.
I'm always amazed that you have therapy in the morning, Tom. I could never, and my shit is minor!
I was not killed in my sleep and Mac was more human this morning.
Glad to hear it!
I hope you make it through until it's drinking time, Tom.
My passport wasn't stolen, and it's now sitting on my kitchen table with an Indian business visa in it! I may be blowing off my 8:30am meeting because it's not mandatory, and because I have an 8pm meeting tonight and a 7am tomorrow morning. And I didn't get to bed until around 2am.
Today I just need to churn through my inbox and pick up some packages. I can do that on very little sleep, right?
