Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

Adding garlic is definitely progress. Full credit.

I am well aware of the joys of garlic. But I actually dared the produce section and dealt with actual plant parts instead of something from a jar or bottle. Though that jar of minced garlic in garlic juice looks promising.

At least you are not the idiot at Zara who said "You know what this top needs?"

Mmm, garlic.

The downside to my making-lunches-for-the-whole-week-on-Sunday ways is that I seem to have forgotten how to make one lunch for tomorrow. It just doesn't seem possible.

I do have deviled eggs. And cheesecake. And hazelnuts. Maybe if I have enough snacks I can count that as lunch?

Otherwise known as "working from home."

I always eat like that. Unless my mother feels guilty and worries about us getting pellagra or something.

If I did work from home I would roast some pork belly for lunch. Or make an omelet.

I don't think I can spin "I couldn't figure out what to make for lunch" into a legitimate reason to work from home tomorrow though.

To be fair, I had roasted figs with goat cheese one day for lunch last week.

Today it was cottage cheese with blueberries and...maybe turkey rolled up with swiss cheese?

t edit Man, pork belly sounds good. Why am I so hungry at midnight?

Well, I finally got a good reason to stop following a particularly New Agey whoo-whoo person on Facebook. In addition to perky and sharing of inspirational quotes, she thinks comparisons of Hilary Clinton and Hitler are hysterical. Buh-bye!

Oh jeez please don't. I know you were just kidding, but HTG just seeing it makes me tense up. I don't call senior people on their language but this is one I don't let pass.
