sarameg, I think I understood about a third of what you said. But I understood enough to get that you and your coworkers have completed an enormous project, successfully... possibly even smashingly. Congratulations, and may celebration overtake letdown.

I would get hangry and hurt someone if I had to fast until dinner!
I did get all spun up because the report I reviewed this week used a word I didn't like and I got overruled by the PM on getting rid of it, but I just kept saying, "I HATE IT," and that didn't go over well.
OK, I really need to read my book for book club this week. It's long and I've been lazy...
My SIL is doing this twice per week, because she's got a lot of cancer in her family and body fat is linked to that cancer.
My cancer fear is why I've been toying with trying it, but I keep backing off because 1) seems hard, and 2) I don't want to lose weight. I know they actually advice eating 600-700 calories when fasting, but still... that's not much.
Found my missing coffee grinder lid, woohoo!
Fasting twice a week sounds really hard. If I get less than about 1000 calories in a day my brain stops working.
I basically have never missed a meal in my life, and am often lightheaded and hangry in between breakfast and lunch! Fasting I think is not for me, although I sort of wonder about strategic deployment of small amounts of food throughout the day.

I've been having to eat 6 times a day on my Gestational Diabetes diet, and I have maybe felt hungry once or twice in the past several weeks.
I just eat way too much, I would need to taper before fasting or my body would freak out. I have never been able to stay on top of calorie counting.

This was true of me when I had a fast metabolism. Also when I was trying to gain weight.
These last few months I've had times when it was mealtime but I just wasn't hungry. So I've been skipping meals from time to time.

Yeah, I bet that would be a better way for me to eat, really.
