Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
Advil PM has diphenhydramine, which is Benadryl. You don't need an allergy pill with it, and doubling up on antihistamines can really dry you out.

It's probably the same thing as benadryl, which is diphenhydramine. I would guess that a double dose won't kill you, but you might ask Steph.
It might leave you really groggy tomorrow, though.

I had an allergist who recommended taking two diphenhydramine at bedtime.

I actually take 2 at a time, but if it's not something msbelle regularly takes, I would recommend taking 1, whether it's the diphenhydramine in the advil pm, or otherwise. Because it can knock you on your butt if you don't regularly take it.
(I think I could operate heavy machinery after taking 2 -- they don't make me sleepy any more.)
