Our wings are not tired.

My cat and bunny paid no attention to each other whatsoever. Zoe is another matter altogether. She will rip my arm off to get near a bunny.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

When I think of cats and rabbits, all I can think of Watership Down, and how dangerous the cats were in that...

brillig

I would like a Bigwig. "My chief rabbit told me to stay here." "*He* has a chief rabbit?"

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I did tell the one about the time I got yelled at for smiling....

Because books.

Yeah, Switch brought a terrified, shaking baby bunny in the house once. We got it away from him, and I was amazed the poor little thing didn't die of shock or fear.

Why is the new mini-series of Rosemary's Baby set in Paris? A lot of the plot is a function of the NYC setting. Change makes me sad.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I've actually got a rabbit leash from when I had Bagel Bunny in college. I'd have to get a cage, though. I could put that in the office and shut the door when I'm not home so the cats can't get in - Wednesday is really the only one I'm worried about. She's kind of a bully to the other cats I assume she would try to be to any mammal.

Ugly meeting was all populated by problem children. Including the guy from corporate. He's *really* not happy about the performance stuff. Apparently, our corporate HR dept is a fucking mess right now, and this is partly a result of that. Also, communication is bad. It's not just us, it's all throughout the company. NO FUCKING SHIT. My moribund statement, not far from wrong.

I didn't even get to say my piece because about 15 other people beat me to each one.

First coat of varnish on one of the posts. No pictures, cause you can barely tell except it is slightly shinier (which would mean the photo would suck.)

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Suzi, N&G say thanks!

I ated too much crap which was my way of celebrating my doctor saying I'm borderline obese and will need to be on this fucking hated medicine at least for 3 months and possibly for the rest of my life.

I have work to do but I'm remarkably uninspired to do it.

AND I got $18 on the book settlement.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I just bought a Groupon for the gun range. I'm not a fan of guns at all (to say the least), but I've only ever shot a BB gun (and once I attempted to shoot clay pigeons). I actually want to go to a range and shoot a handgun, to see what it's like. Does that make me a hypocrite?

Because books.

I forgot to say happy birthday to the twins, Kat! And to your doctor I say something less pleasant.

Steph, I don't think so at all. Wanting to know how something works, what the experience feels like, is natural. Even as someone who wouldn't have a gun in her home, it's a good thing to know how to handle one properly.

I'd love to go to a target range, actually.
