Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

I am trying to lose size though. I get protein on my salad, but I want more lettuce, like a giant bowl of lettuce. I guess that is what I am having for dinner tonight, I need to cook up some beans so I can add them to salads for easy cheap protein. I also need to magically lose inches and that is not happening.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I also enjoy the broccoli-cheddar soup. And actually, I haven't had any of their "power" salads -- they have chickpeas and whatnot and spinach. I bet that's worth the $$.

I also need to magically lose inches and that is not happening.

Annoying!

I know. I did just get inspired though to make a low-rent standing desk set-up. a file box on top of my desk puts the keybooard at the right height. A printer toner box with some notepads stacked on it seems to be the right height for my mouse. My screens are too low, but I have them angled up and while not ideal, I think I can walk in place and work.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have a thingy that lets me raise up the keyboard so I can use it while standing at work, I should take advantage of that more. The mouse is a little awkward, but I can probably get used to it.

I think last time I had a Panera salad it was pretty filling but that was last summer and someone else was paying for it.

They pay me in WOIMS

I don't go to Panera because there isn't a whole lot on the menu if you don't eat bacon.

That is not a problem for me. ISTR I didn't have a lot of choices that fit my dietary restrictions, though.

Still in Epic Gronk mode.

I'm so tired. I just had one of those meetings where my laptop decided it hated me and wouldn't let me pull up the meeting agenda and I continued to failboat from there.

Yeah, I was surprised by that (but also delighted).

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Yup. Even less when you add "don't eat dairy".

I'm eating a salad at my desk right now, and it's delicious! (But, we have a full-size fridge at work, so it's easier for me to bring food in.)
