Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

I desperately want to icyhot/bengay my hands, but inevitably, I'd touch my face and badness. Maybe at bedtime and socks on my hands? IDEK.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

My neighbor says she felt the little earthquake (4.4 about 90 miles away), but I didn't notice anything.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My niece in Georgia noticed it too.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Aw, dude. Ellen Page came out tonight at a Human Rights Campaign event, and her speech gave me allergies: [link]

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Due to a typo I just made, I've decided that most mansplaining can also be categorized as a "manswer."

(I'm sure someone else has already thought of this, but I am amused.)

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

That is a most excellent typo. I'm'a keep it.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Her speech was really lovely.

Good typo.

Athens, GA felt the earthquake like whoa. As a Facebook friend pointed out, it is super-funny when it's the evening of Valentine's Day and suddenly everyone you know is posting, "Did you feel that?" "I think I just felt the earth move!" "My whole house is shaking."

I'm solo to market. Weather is crap, but it isn't 3" of snow. Woohooo!

I have to decide whether to chair or not when I go out to do errands today. 90% of my neighbors hold to the code of only taking the space they cleared. That other 10%? They didn't shovel anything and muscle their cars out leaving a mess. And yes, I know who they are and they are perfectly capable of making an effort.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I decided to splurge and stay tonight at Boskone, which neatly will help me avoid trying to get home in the middle of the blizzard. Now to pack and get over there!
